World-class work injury care
CINN is home to one of the largest neurological and
spine-related work injury programs in the greater Chicago
area, and our proven protocols encompass the entire
recovery process. Our treatment plan begins with the
gathering and documentation of objective findings and
analysis of subjective information, leading to the pinpointing
of a clearly defined, work-related cause. The core of
the program is our team of highly experienced neurological
specialists in physiatry, neurology and neurosurgery.
Closely coordinated case management
At CINN we understand the objectives of the case manager.
To this end, our protocols are based on providing the
most appropriate care and the most efficient allocation
of resources. Our focus is on rapid case resolution,
and our methodology calls for timely and complete communication
with our case manager partners. To further enhance case
coordination, we provide a network of resources that
is comprehensive and easily navigable. Our physicians
meet weekly in conference to review complex spine cases.

Integrated one-stop resource
In most cases, treatment begins with triage from experienced
physiatrists. Following triage, we offer world-class
medical care in all appropriate disciplines and protocols,
including acute and chronic care, surgery with an emphasis
on minimally invasive procedures, and a conservative
approach that proposes non-surgical solutions whenever
possible. We provide expertise in injection therapy,
endoscopic spine surgery, intradiscal thermal catheter
therapy and vertebroplasty. We were one of the first
groups in the state to perform disc replacement surgery
with an artificial disc. For long-term pain control,
implantable spine devices, such as morphine pumps and
dorsal column stimulators, are available through our
team of physicians.
CINN also provides complete rehabilitation services
with experienced specialists in work conditioning, functional
capacity evaluation, and occupational and physical therapy.
Easy, convenient access
The extensive CINN network offers convenient access
from anywhere in the Chicago area, plus fully integrated
system-wide treatment options and coordinated problem
solving. Many work injury patients come to the network
through referral to a CINN doctor. For non-referral
cases, our case manager dedicated toll free number is
designed to provide fast initial access to the CINN
system.
