Today Dr. Cerullo discusses a type of treatment for brain tumors called stereotactic radiosurgery. He discusses the differences between stereotactic radiosurgery and conventional or fractionated radiation treatment. He also provides an overview of the advent of stereotactic radiosurgery, the various machines used to deliver the treatment, including the Gamma Knife.
