Neuropsychological Testing

Neuropsychological testing measures your thinking abilities, memory, perception, and judgment. It is conducted by a clinical neuropsychologist.

How to Prepare

Your neuropsychological testing may be conducted at the hospital or at the office of one of our consulting clinical neuropsychologists. Your CINN Outpatient Center nurse will help you arrange an appointment at the location most convenient for you.

This testing requires no special preparation. You may eat and drink as usual and remain active right up until the time of your appointment.

What to Expect

During the neuropsychological testing, which takes three to five hours to complete, you will be asked to respond to questions, write with a pen, and manipulate a variety of objects.

You may resume your normal activities immediately.
